To celebrate World Peace Day, the school took time in their Celebration of the Word to reflect on the need for hope. They wrote prayers of peace and support for others in need. We then presented the prayers to the Harbour Project (a local charity supporting refugees).
We were visited by the Harbour Project and we wrote prayers of hope. This linked to our Catholic Social Teaching Principles of the Common Good and Solidarity. When the Harbour Project visited, I learnt that not everyone has a choice to stay in a house. I hope my prayer of hope will help others by being cheerful.
